Prestige AI-powered lockers in residential projects launched on May 22, 2025, through a partnership between Prestige Group and Aurm. They offer 24/7 biometric access and ₹25 lakh insurance per unit. The first installation is at Prestige Pallavaram Gardens, a ₹3,074 cr, 4.24 mn sq ft Chennai township.
Aurum began in April 2023 under Vijay Arisetty, Suraj HS, and Pratap Chandana. It builds vaults from reinforced steel and concrete with over 2,000 IoT sensors. Lockers use palm-vein biometrics and AI video analytics to detect tampering. A mobile app lets residents control access and view security logs.
Lockers include 24/7 AI-driven cameras and vibration sensors to spot drilling. A panic button summons Quick Reaction Teams within 15 minutes and notifies local police. Predictive maintenance routines and auto-resets keep the system online without downtime.
The debut is at Prestige Pallavaram Gardens on Pallavaram–Thuraipakkam Road, Chennai. This township includes 1,200 homes and retail spaces, spans 4.24 mn sq ft, and costs ₹3,074 cr. Similar installations follow in FY 26 across Bangalore, Mumbai, and Delhi NCR.
From FY 26 onward, every new Prestige project will include these lockers as standard. Initial sites cover Chennai, Bangalore’s Outer Ring Road, Mumbai’s Worli, and Gurugram. Retrofitting older estates is under review based on demand and feasibility.
Lockers are optional and leased via monthly or annual plans. Small units start at ₹2,000/month; large units at ₹5,000/month. Subscription fees cover insurance, upkeep, and software updates with no extra real estate cost.
